Today we started our learning on algebraic problem solving which focuses on the skills required to build equations. This material is in our Handouts (in our Google Classwork) under Algebraic Linear Equations & Inequalities.
1) We started with doing the Algebra Problem Solving Warm Up (in Handouts - this problem is purposefully challenging and we will learn how to efficiently do coin problems next week).
2) We then had a lesson where we went over the two variable problem solving strategy on the Problem Solving Breakdown handout.
3) We then started the Algebra Problem Solving Practice sheet and did question 1 together. We will work on this on Monday. This sheet is due Tuesday, Nov 24.
